JUST WHEN YOU THINK IT'S SAFE TO GO TO THE GROCERY STORE..

  • FEELING DANGEROUSLY: NOT LIKE SHOPPING
  • WHAT WILL WE DO TODAY? CLEAN UP THE BACKYARD
  • WHAT'S HAPPENING OUTSIDE? SUNNY AND WARMER
  • MUNCHING OR SIPPING: SODA
FIRST LET ME JUST SAY THAT I MAY NEVER GO SHOPPING ON FRIDAYS AGAIN. THIS FIRST ENCOUNTER HAPPENED A WEEK AGO. DANGER SON AND I WENT TO GET SOME OF THOSE PREMADE COOKIES TO BAKE FOR A UNION BAKE SALE. AS I WENT AROUND THE CORNER TO WHERE THE COOKIES WERE I RAN INTO THIS HEAD ON.  HE WAS PUSHING HIS OWN CART JUST LIKE IT WAS NOTHING TO BE DRESSED UP AND WEARING THOSE HUGE CLOWN SHOES. CAN I JUST SAY I WAS TRAUMATIZED FOR HOURS. LUCKY FOR HIM I DON'T HAVE A CLOWN PHOBIA. OK SO THEN YESTERDAY WE WERE AT OUR LOCAL DISCOUNT DEPARTMENT/GROCERY STORE WHERE I HAD STOPPED AT THE MEAT COUNTER TO GET SOME GROUND BEEF AND DANGER SON SAYS "DON'T TURN AROUND YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE WHAT IS BEHIND YOU" WELL OF COURSE I WANTED TO SEE SO ONCE AGAIN I TURNED AND WHAT DID I SEE.............. OK OBVIOUSLY THE BUTCHER HAS WAAYYY TOO MUCH TIME ON HIS HANDS!! CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY!! THANK GOD FOR CAMERA CELLPHONES!!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

Oh yikes, I'd want a bit of warning if I was to see either of those things in real life. My grocery shopping is delightfully tame.
